Swamiji’s birthday at JSS institutions 
 Born in the year 1916, his holiness Sri Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji is remembered for his phenomenal contribution to the field of Education.  
 A scholar in Kannada, English and Sanskrit, was a patron of arts and literature. He was thoughtful and sensitive to an astonishing degree. The wisdom of all his predecessors seems to have culminated in him. That is how he was able to build an empire of educational institutions. 
 The revered pontiff’s birth anniversary is celebrated every year on August 29th in all the 310 JSS institutions. Special Poojas, lighting of lamp and prayers are held to commemorate his holy soul.
