Pass in H.Sc.,/PDC/PUC (10+2) with an aggregate of 50% of marks in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology or Biology or Mathematics.

Selection will be made for this academic year only (2008-09) on the merit based on marks secured in

1. Qualifying examinations (10+2/PUC/HSC, etc.,) in relevant subjects conducted by various Boards of Authority. A normalization process will be adopted to equate the marks of the various boards.
2. Admissions will be done as per the Supreme Court and UGC guidelines.
3. Course will be allotted through counseling.

• Students must have completed and passed the 10 + 2 examinations under CBSE /ISC / State Board syllabus with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology-Botany).
• Candidates who are applying for admission under the NRI/Foreign Student’s Category should have completed equivalent prescribed for the local candidates before they will be considered eligible for admission to these courses.
• NRI/Foreign students must have completed the 12th Grade (A Level) and secured a PASS before the date of starting the academic year.
• All applicants must have taken courses in Biology, Physics and Chemistry in addition to English and Mathematics in the High School Years (during their 10th, 11th and 12th)
• A grade point average of 3 (on a scale of 1 to 4) or a B-average in these core subjects is preferred.
• Wherever alphabetical grades like A, B-, C+ are used by the school, appropriate equivalence in terms of percentage like 90%, 75% and 60% should be made available.
• Only students from high schools accredited by the respective State or the country will be eligible for admission and a statement to this effect must be produced.
